“Rethinking Digital Technology to Shape Tomorrow’s Research” - On the occasion of its 70th anniversary, Isep is hosting a seminar that will bring together leading figures from the academic, institutional, and scientific communities around a central theme: the vital role of research and doctoral education in advancing the digital sciences.

An Interdisciplinary Seminar to Foster Cross-Perspectives

Titled “Rethinking Digital Technology to Shape Tomorrow’s Research Through Interdisciplinary Approaches”, this seminar is intended for faculty researchers, PhD students, students, academic and industry partners, and anyone committed to promoting responsible digital innovation.

On the agenda: inspiring keynotes, a roundtable discussion with Isep alumni PhD graduates, and a scientific poster session highlighting research projects conducted within the school’s laboratory.

  • Sylvie Retailleau, Professor at Université Paris-Saclay and former Minister of Higher Education and Research

  • Bertrand Granado, Director of the Doctoral College at Sorbonne University

  • Michel Terré, Professor at CNAM and telecommunications expert

  • Isabelle Bloch, Professor at Sorbonne University and researcher in medical image processing

Isep will also spotlight its alumni who have earned their PhDs, highlighting the doctorate as a path of excellence—driving innovation, technological progress, and societal engagement.
