Patricia CONDE-CESPEDES

Associate Professor, PhD

Patricia Conde Céspedes is an Associate Professor at Isep and a member of the DaSSIP team within the LISITE laboratory, where she supervises PhD theses in Artificial Intelligence. Her teaching activities focus on data science-related subjects, such as machine learning, probability and statistics, and algorithms. She has supervised student projects from prestigious universities, including Stanford University.

Previously, she was a postdoctoral researcher at L2TI, University Paris 13. In 2013, she defended her PhD on graph clustering/community detection at Sorbonne University, Pierre and Marie Curie campus. Before her PhD, she earned a Master’s degree in Statistics and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.

She has participated in big data analytics projects such as REQUEST and POLLEN. In her native country, Bolivia, she received the Guido Capra Jemio Award as the top student of her class. She also received French government scholarships twice to pursue her Master’s and PhD studies.
