Signal to Noise plus Interferences ratio distributions for downlink WiMAX applications in square, circle and hexagonal cells
Prior to Matlab development, a bibliographical study will be necessary, focusing on the different regular networks topologies and their consequences in terms of signal to noise plus interferences ratio (SNIR) distribution on the downlink for the users in the cells.
Given the inter-site distance, the project's aim consists, using Matlab, in the evaluation of the SNIR on the downlink in three different cellular networks topologies: hexagonal cells, circle cells, and square cells. A comparison of the results will be done.
Then, using Fractional Frequency Reuse parameters (reuse pattern, cell's size, etc), the variations of the distribution functions will be studied.
